New Generation Sports Club “The Foxes”
is a community based on Sports Club in Moshi – Municipal, Karanga ward in
the greater Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania. The history of the club dates back
to the year 2007 under the stewardship of four people who became the founding
stake holders. The four stakeholders namely Mr. Bernard mwenyelwa, Reuben
Lyanga, Japhet Mpande and Isaac Gamba mobilized young talented football players
and recruited them to form the club as a football family.
The
club has slowly grown to be a major competitor in the regional football league
appreciated by football loving funs of Kilimanjaro. Since its inception, new generation
has helped many talented young people to discover and develop their footballing
skills. Together we have built a formidable soccer team, competing in the
highest league of the province with a dream of reaching the highest level of
the national wide league in the near future.
Upon
formation, new generation participated in the divisional football league where
we succeeded and were promoted to the regional league. The team continues to
work earnestly towards promotion to the highest level of the nationwide league.
Our
dream is to continue nurturing the gifts of the young people in sport related
issues. In doing so, we hope to assist them to fully realize that football and
sports is key in building a better society
devoid of crime, drug abuse, idleness and other social evil associated with
idleness. We look forward to work with the community as major stakeholders in
shaping the personalities of our young gifted people.
